I have been working at Shutterfly full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great teams You’ll get to work with latest tech stack (most of the time) Amazing work life balance

    Cons

-If you want to change teams to get different experiences, good luck to you - Project planning between PMs happen in a black box with no Engineering inputs - You won’t feel presence of a culture (if you care about it)

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Shutterfly for less than a year

    Pros

They will post lot of opportunities on job portal

    Cons

Worst company for giving interviews. They don't have proper interview process and recruiter will not provide you result unless you asked for. They will take your interview and keep you wondering for a month. I experienced this situation twice in a year

    Negative Outlook
    No Opinion of CEO

    I worked at Shutterfly

    Pros

Decent work life balance Nice people

    Cons

This company used to be decent, but it was bought by a private equity firm that is slashing jobs. Culture of company has been on the steady decline. Pay is not competitive and no annual raises. Work is not challenging or innovative. Very siloed teams.

I worked at Shutterfly for less than a year

    Pros

Benefits at the time of the internship like a fun hour and HR activity.

    Cons

Mentor and managers don't care about interns' work. They even don't ask for an update and sometimes just assign work as sake of purpose.

    Disapproves of CEO

    I worked at Shutterfly

    Pros

Decent pay, but not enough for a web developer.

    Cons

After the initial interview, I thought it would be a good place to work. I was wrong. Management was always breathing down my neck and always needed things done now! The amount of micromanagement here is unprecedented.
