    Pros

    Good salary then but raises were halted. Good parties.

    Cons

    Staff issues are pushed under the carpet and not dealt with appropriately. Fake team feel and if you don't go along to almost every social event in firm or dept you feel isolated.

    the work is of excellent quality, there is a strong culture, the people are mostly good to work with and decent, and the firm offers good career prospects

    hours can be very long and there is minimal scope to make social engagements during the working week for unpredictability of hours. this is not unique to this firm, rather the culture of city law
