I have been working at Simon-Kucher & Partners full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Company has been enjoying above-market success and growth for decades, with recent years being particularly strong. This means it is on a strong growth trajectory with a bright future, creating a real optimistic buzz in the office given the constant wins - Work is fascinating and niche providing a unique opportunity to excel beyond other areas in consulting - Despite pricing focus, all the typical consulting toolkit...

    Cons

    - The pay is good but could be better. It is more along the lines of Big4 than top consultancy firms - Bonuses are quite low but this should be changing in the future as the company continues its success

    Advice to Management

Increase compensation by 10% on all lower levels to retain talent

    I have been working at Simon-Kucher & Partners full-time

    Pros

Projects are more interesting than in other firms as the topics are commercial growth ones rather than cost cutting, risk management, process optimisation

    Cons

The growth opportunities that were present earlier from the company being small are no longer there as the company has grown. Projects are very focused on Pricing and the clientele is often limited to companies that cannot afford MBB. Salaries are much lower.
