I worked at Sky Betting & Gaming full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Generally good colleagues - Young and energetic work force - Regular updates from senior directors

    Cons

    - Due to rapid expansion, a lot of first time managers are learning on the job - Lack of structure for those looking to progress - After being subject to a big acquisition there's a greater focus on short term targets

I have been working at Sky Betting & Gaming full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The people are fantastic; really friendly and enthusiastic There is a lot of room to take on more ownership and responsibility Lots of exciting socials Best place to work in your first year with the business.

    Cons

Responsibility isn't fairly acknowledged or rewarded Salary quickly becomes noncompetitive as responsibilities grow Many operational teams have glass ceilings Lack of structure makes SBG more entertaining but can jeopardise the professionalism of employees early on in their careers.

    Advice to Management

Take more of an active interest in developing and advocating for your people Implement succession plans Have regular one-to-ones
