    Pros

Good benefits Some genuinely lovely people

    Cons

Inconsistent management, CELs constantly try to avoid doing what they should in regards to escalations and make you basically have an argument. Despite them not being “technical” the moment you need something they begin to know better, this doesn’t apply to all managers but again that comes back to consistent management of staff. Disconnect from higher ups such as ops managers. Can feel very much like a school environment in that you are watched and timed to the second with everything you do, but some expect you to be available to the end of shift to the point where they don’t care if you stay over the time you are paid until. Management also change shifts to “improve” things but instead of getting staff opinion we were basically told to shut up and like it as this is happening, not in those exact words but it was how it felt. For a company that does so much in regards to being inclusive there is little consequence for staff being subject to racist remarks. Face fits culture.

I have been working at Sky full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Free sky, good working environment, good canteen, good team, good manager

    Cons

Job that is not about sales has a heavy sales focus and punishment for those who don't sell. Managers circles are all clique based, and the managers are often not available and off in a meeting somewhere as an excuse to not take escalations

I worked at Sky full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Basic pay is OK, commission on sales (non targeted) is great and there are many products to sell so it's easy. There are targets (KPIs etc) but as long as you've got good customer satifaction then they don't push you too hard. Managers are friendly and get things done. Lots of ways to develope and progress. Loads of time off phones for brand and services discussions etc. Loads of overtime avaliable - triple time sometimes!!

    Cons

Glassdoor wants me to enter at least 5 words, but there aren't really any downsides. As call centers go, it's right up there at the top.
