      Pros

If you have the opportunity to be a student worker at SEMO, you should take it. Flexible hours to work with your class schedule and on campus so you don't need any sort of transportation.

      Cons

None that I can think of

      Pros

Great benefits, learn a lot, easy to find entry level jobs and get promoted fairly easily, flexible hours, etc.

      Cons

State job so you only get small routine raises on a yearly basis (usually around or less than 2%), typical government hierarchy, things can take time to accomplish

      Pros

This job offered flexible hours and a very laid back work atmosphere. Not too stressful and not really bogged down with a lot of work.

      Cons

The relations with employees was hard to deal with. Quality of some employees on the landscaping crew was poor. Management could possibly hire better crews.

      Pros

Best part of working as a lab assistant was being able to do my homework while working. Flexible hours and understanding of student responsibilities.

      Cons

The worst part about working as a lab assistant was the low pay but that is expected for a job of that type.
