- Modern office - £10/£15 lunch credit

Cons

Decided to overlook the review left on 4 Dec 2024 but you can take that and double it. Please consider your options carefully. Instructions are given in confused incoherent English that doesn’t make sense. If you try to be proactive you will get told off, if you ask for clarity you will get a condescending response. If you make the slightest error expect to be thrown under the bus at the first opportunity alongside receiving catty emails. Decision making is incredibly erratic and unpredictable, it’s clear they derive from pure emotion instead of any sense of perspective or knowledge. Expectations are not clearly outlined and invisible goalposts are constantly moved. You get asked to do something, you will do it, then you will be asked why you just did that? Never seen gaslighting like it. The office is nice but completely devoid of atmosphere. It doesn’t contain the usual banter you’d find elsewhere which is a shame.

Pros

The job itself was interesting, you get to work very closely with the partners.

Cons

Within the two years I was there, I've seen people being removed due to burnout and I've seen a handfull of people being let go, confirming leadership didn't do a good job in recruiting the right ones. Toxic work culture, depending on team you are working in. Their 'best place to work' achievement is bought. In the time I was there, I was pushed by my manager to work long hours, snapped at multiple times, asked to change presentations over and over again and often not given clear directions or instructions. I was blamed for things I didn't do and wasn't asked for my opinion.
