I have been working at Stanley Black & Decker full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

There is not much to be said in terms of benefits for this company. I work in the UK headquarters of Slough. We get free klix machine drinks, heating and a parking space.

    Cons

A male oriented workplace, the majority of the senior roles are held by Men. There are stock terms all management use such as “over arching” , saying “right” at the end of a sentence. The brands might be strong but I...

I worked at Stanley Black & Decker full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Staff are helpful and friendly and hard working with a can do attitude. And will will succeed with the right leadership.

    Cons

Sincerely the top management are totally two faced with no obligation to the staff or the team. Selfishness also bullying and double standards covers the Rotherham depot.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Stanley Black & Decker full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

A great team, great brands and great products. Known for innovation and still very strong at it with some of the best engineering and product design teams in the business.

    Cons

Process and systems are outdated and don’t connect to each other, they are working on it but not very quickly. Senior members sometimes struggle to understand why a product doesn’t just fly off the shelves when you haven’t marketed it.

    Advice to Management

Understand the differences between your brands further and be willing to invest for longer term growth.
