I have been working at Stanley Black & Decker full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Excellent company with a rich history of 175 years. Stanley Black & Decker is well positioned for growth as they embark on Industry 4.0. The leaders at Stanley are knowledgeable, adaptable, accessible and transparent. The diverse and inclusive culture here is admirable. There's a new communication platform which empowers employees to be engaged in all company updates at Stanley. The culture here is deeply routed team building events and networking opportunities. I highly recommend working here!!

    Cons

Many locations in central CT, should expand into new states to attract more talent which will also increase brand recognition.

    Pros

Staff are helpful and friendly and hard working with a can do attitude.
And will will succeed with the right leadership.

    Cons

Sincerely the top management are totally two faced with no obligation to the staff or the team.

    Cons

    - Too focused on short-term cost saving which restricts growth
    - More focus on staff development required

    Advice to Management

    - Focus on long-term growth

I have been working at Stanley Black & Decker full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

A great team, great brands and great products. Known for innovation and still very strong at it with some of the best engineering and product design teams in the business.

    Cons

Process and systems are outdated and don’t connect to each other, they are working on it but not very quickly.
Senior members sometimes struggle to understand why a product doesn’t just fly off the shelves when you haven’t marketed it.

    Advice to Management

Understand the differences between your brands further and be willing to invest for longer term growth.
