I worked at State Street full-time

    Pros

At the time, the team I worked on was great. Staff training to facilitate continuous professional development was excellent. SS promoted culture very well despite being headquartered in Boston, London staff felt engaged as participation in town Halls was encouraged.

    Cons

At the time the work life balance was not favourable due to travel requirements and an ambitious Audit plan. Also some management (not all) favoured external recruitment over internal development and promotion. Even at the expense of losing talent and experienced staff.
