Team environment, interesting work, roles constantly evolving - company flexible to changing trends in workplace - room for growth and increasing responsibility - input from employees appreciated and heard
I have been at Stern for 5 years and many other employees have been here 10+ years. That speaks to the culture of the place – this is not a “churn and burn” type of agency. During my tenure at Stern, I have been encouraged to take on new and challenging endeavors, mentored to be a become a better professional, and have built friendships with management- and associate-level employees alike. What originally drew me to this firm - working with really smart clients with interesting ideas that have the potential to change the world for the better – is just one of the things that keep me here now. Also, not commuting into the city every day is a godsend.
Cons
Agencies are generally not the type of work environment for people wanting to punch the clock and get out. That said, Stern has a better work-life balance than many agencies my colleagues and friends have worked at.
