Pros

I cannot think of any

Cons

They are nit picky...they put you down. Management is horrible and have one set of rules for people who have been there a long time versus new employees. They put you down at every turn. I worked at Rolling Meadows but reported to Des Moines and Cedar Rapids. HR will not help you. They will lie. I received an appraisal and was given all meet and exceeds requirements for all items and then was told I did not meet expectations. Where is the logic in that? My manager could not give me an explanation after I asked how that was possible. I was put on probation without being told. I found out months later. I notified HR ..no help. That is their MO.. More back stabbing that I have ever experienced in 40 years of working in this industry. People leave right and left.

Pros

Semi-competitive pay, it's a job.

Cons

Only 2 weeks vacation regardless of experience level, unless you are management. Then you get 3. Retirement benefits are almost nothing. They really seem to be clueless about employee moral. The worst part is, senior management has the attitude that it's a good business practice to take systems that used to have 10-15 people supporting them and dwindle that down to the bare minimum 1-2 to barely meet compliance, but not address any problems. They really are looking at things from a day to day perspective. It's sad because their customers probably have no idea how understaffed and undersupported they are. They are living off of a reputation and existing contracts for now. Many customers are getting a clue and are abandoning them. They have begun outsourcing what remains of the already extremely thin staffing levels. They have done several waves of layoffs and are pushing the work to people in Russia who have no experience or knowledge of the systems. Forget any hope at advancement, any left are lucky to even still have a job. All that will be left of this company soon are managers and Russians with no experience. Stay away from this company!

Pros

Covered parking... but cars get broken into.

Cons

The top management is basically not fit to run the company. They pretend to know everything but when someone tries to tell them they are wrong, they refuse to listen. They refuse to make any decision leaving the projects in limbo. If you are not their buddy, forget getting raises (even basic cost of living). Too much politics and projects are assigned to people who cannot even tie their shoe laces. Most of the management were buddies in their previous workplace and after one gets in here, he/she will bring the rest of them. Once they are in, each of them reward each other w/ bonuses and high pay. Most of the work is outsourced to India and the management of that task is horrible. Too many VPs and PMs in the company and once people get promoted, they quickly quit the company. Your manager does not perform your yearly evaluation, but the PM for the project does. Go figure!
