Pros
SMS/CRC has a very supportive Senior Leadership Team, complemented by a great team. There is much room for professional development and career advancement. The company is a well respected leader in healthcare, and has built a strong line of services/solutions to help healthcare organizations build, manage and enhance their compliance programs, which makes the sales process seamless. The work environment is professional, yet relaxed, and team members are well respected. If you are looking to advance your career in the healthcare space, work with some of the most respected professionals in the industry, and gain experience providing quality solutions to healthcare organizations, this is the place to be. Great compensation package, robust benefits package, and generous PTO/Holiday policies. Access to a wealth of knowledge in ethics, compliance and all healthcare business sectors.
Cons
Depending on your location and personal preferences, the commute may be an issue. There is a large demand for the SMS/CRC solutions lines, which can sometimes result in longer hours, but that is to be expected. If you are looking for a standard 9-5 job, look elsewhere. The larger projects/deals will require working outside of normal business hours, but this is true of any professional services firm if you want to succeed. You get out what you put in... Not really "cons" if you are a hungry, success driven professional.
