    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Sungard Availability Services full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Some great people to work with.

    Cons

Everything is a challenge. Majority of people have checked out and just happy to get another months pay. Employee morale is bottom of the barrel and this was before the pandemic hit. Zero chance for career development. With an ever failing organisation and a client base looking at exiting as quickly as possible, the opportunity to upsell is non-existent . As for new logo customers; yeah good luck with that. Sungard who ? Becoming more and more difficult to sell with no differentiation or value provided above and beyond far more successful competition. If your happy with your monthly salary and want to play the quarterly ‘ do I still have a job yes/no ? ‘ game, then this is the place for you. Why am I still here ? 15yrs service. So the will have to pay me to leave !

I worked at Sungard Availability Services full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Some of the fellow inmates were great to work with. That’s about it.

    Cons

This is a comedy company. Way too many cons to list. Just don’t waste your time here. There are no prospects for development, your ability to sell is greatly diminished by the lack of market relevant services coupled with the terrible reputation of the business in its latest form. By the way, just like the fashion industry, they come up with new ways of trying to sell you the same crap every season. Customers aren’t buying it though !
