I have been working at Superdry full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

50% Discount (but clothes have gone down hill the last few years)
    Uniform allowance twice a year
    Good mix of people

    Cons

Refurbishment to shop going on at the moment so horrible working conditions. Shop stinks of chemicals and staff members getting ill from it. Downstairs flooded with urine from another shops toilet. It’s been a week and still the floor hasn’t been disinfected/cleaned properly.
Management insist we sign customers up to emails without there knowledge when doing e-receipts, breaking the data protection act.
Payed poorly for the amount of work we have to do.

    Advice to Management

Understand your under a lot of pressure to perform but you don’t need to pass the stress onto us.

I worked at Superdry full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Work with some amazing people
Progression is more than possible if you work hard and make yourself known within the company (which is relatively easy)
Company is continuously moving forward (eg not stuck in rut), visual merchandising is often exciting and the company tries new things
    Area VM's mostly helpful

    Cons

The company is extremely reactive to change and you very frequently are given tasks/things to do that day which will take the whole day if that makes sense. e.g. "change all the 70% sale to 50% by 4pm today" *next day* @"change all the 50% sale back to 70% by 1pm today" things like that ALL THE TIME which makes it very difficult to remain motivated and to have faith in the company/senior management
Often kept in the dark about certain things
Never have appraisals/meetings but I guess this would vary upon store
Company in general is very cliquey, but most people I came across were very nice.

    Advice to Management

Have confidence in decision making, instead of freaking out and making last minute rushed decisions which will ultimately lead to a lack of faith from the staff.
