Hi, Thank you for your feedback. We understand the uncertainty that has been caused by the changes, but these have been an essential part of changes in how we operate. We have needed to make some difficult decisions to ensure that we can bring the appropriate levels of service to all of our customers. This will enable us to take the best of what we had before, and build a platform on which to grow in the future. Kind regards, The Swinton Team

I have been working at Swinton Insurance full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great people (in branches and some support services) . Love working in the branch and developing my people, it's lovely to watch some one develop from when they first start and in many cases watch their confidence grow. Love dealing with customers and the fact that nothing is ever too repetitive, different conversations and different tasks to complete daily.

    Cons

Head office don't seem to have a clue how to run the company, they will drive out there most experienced staff and be left with people that are happy to stay because they know they won't get much better. There is no clarity on what's happening, it's all been up on the air since October last year. Every question asked at the conference was not answered there was no point in a question and answer session. Most other managers I've spoken too all feel the same, too many changes to keep up with. All we want to know is which branches will be closing and what the truthful pans out for our company.

I am saddended to read this - I want you to continue loving what you do, and ensure your efforts are recognised and rewarded by our company. We delivered a series of messages at the Conference recently about our strategy of Simplify & Focus and the reasons for it. We also confirmed that the news about the reshaping of the branch network would be detailed by the end of February, and we are on track to deliver that promise. We provided answers to more than 300 questions in the Q&A sessions & follow-up material, I would encourage you to take a read through of the subsequent iLink article - if you submitted a Question to our panel you may well find it answered directly there also. If there's anything you feel we haven't provided enough clarity on - please get in touch with my office, my details are as per iLink. Richard Beaven, Distribution Director
