    its a stressful position having to hear about peoples troubles and you not being able to do anything but take their money.

    Great benefits, upbeat work enviornment, lots of opportunity to perfect your customer service skills, interpersonnel hiring

    Cons

    No much room to move around to other departments, or move up. As a customer service rep on the phone, your pay grade is a higher level than a postion where you are not on the phone, so if you choose to go to another department, they will not allow you to keep your same pay, even if you earned it through raises, not much room for upgrades in policies, especially when it comes to dealing with irate customers.
