    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at TE Connectivity full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

You get to finish early on a Friday (1pm). There are some really good people there trying hand.

    Cons

The management at the Hastings site is absolutely toxic and should be avoided at all costs. There is a well established bullying culture within the management at the Hastings site, which is endorsed at senior levels. The poor management culture extends beyond the Hastings site, where during 2017/18, six senior managers were fired for issues that were all overturned on appeal. The shop floor staff are harassed by... supervisors who have minimal people management skills and training, some are completely incompetent. The site is in drastic need of investment to replace all the ageing equipment. TE will probably shut the site and push the work out to its low cost factories. I cannot recommend this company to anyone!

    Advice to Management

Forget about engagement scores and claims to an Ethical company, just go and look around the Hastings site and talk to the real people there. They can guide you in what needs to be done.

I have been working at TE Connectivity

    Pros

Structured and ethical company where people are given opportunities for their personal development. Benefits and salary are good. Friendly atmosphere across the sites.

    Cons

Management structure is a little top heavy. There are some individuals that need to leave the company rather than say how bad it is in there.

    Advice to Management

Open and honest communication helps - just need more of it.

I have been working at TE Connectivity full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great base pay, great bonus when company is doing well

    Cons

Lots of politics to read, some groups don't want to see "red" on the status slides.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the folks you hire before you have to downsize them. Marketing is not a "cost" to manage but an "investment" to cultivate.
