I worked at TE Connectivity full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The people and the hours were great, managers listened to your ideas. Flexibility in some roles and diversity of careers available.

    Cons

Senior Managers not always cohesive with each other. Did have a silo approach to lots and people didn't always like change making it hard to progress

I worked at TE Connectivity full-time

    Pros

None that I can think of.

    Cons

If you,re a corporate yes man you'll go far. You are just there to make senior management and by that I mean the top people in the US, look good by way of reports and endless conference calls instead of actually doing you're job. HR are truly awful people and wield the power. To them you are just a number on a payroll and will readily conspire to get rid of you for any number or reasons they think fit using underhand...

    Advice to Management

You don't know everything. Listen to the people with experience, when they leave because they can't stand it any longer or you get rid of them, what will you have left??

I worked at TE Connectivity full-time

    Pros

Generally nice people, good work life balance if you get your head down and do your work in the day. Finishing at 1pm on Fridays.

    Cons

Management and HR are bullies and a disgrace, the staff are treated badly (unless you are management). Constantly asked for cost savings and making staff redundant but senior managers can have new expensive cars?? Overload of work that needs to be manufactured but not allowed any new machines to do the work. Old time consuming processes. Impossible tasks set for pay reviews, or excuses made so you don't qualify for a...

    Advice to Management

Everyone in TE should be treated the same, its the little people that you don't bother to look after that do the hard work to get things out on time. Look into your senior management they are failing but you cover things up. You are losing all the good people with the knowledge, you can't keep knife and forking things together something will give soon enough.

I have been working at TE Connectivity

    Pros

Structured and ethical company where people are given opportunities for their personal development. Benefits and salary are good. Friendly atmosphere across the sites.

    Cons

Management structure is a little top heavy. There are some individuals that need to leave the company rather than say how bad it is in there.

    Advice to Management

Open and honest communication helps - just need more of it.

Everyone leaves the office at 5pm sharp.

    Cons

Opportunities for advancement are limited. Very static and hierarchical structure.

    Advice to Management

Develop graduates rather than leaving them to do the same jobs as technicians for more pay.

Decent pay. Fairly friendly staff. Great canteen for luchtime meal. Decent pay. Fairly friendly staff. Great canteen for luchtime meal.

    Cons

Interns often end up doing the odd jobs rather than working on one larger project throughout.

    Advice to Management

Give interns a larger project to work on continuously rather than using them for odd jobs
