A great company to work for

Pros

Telescope is a really wonderful company to work for and working on really innovative campaigns. Everyone is really part of a team and want to help you succeed. There is some flexibility to be able to work from home or remotely and you really gain some valuable technology/digital experience.

Cons

The sales team doesn't really seem to understand the technology before selling projects so it makes it difficult for the operations and app teams to to organize a project and know the full scope.

Pros

They have free coffee? There really are not many perks here. Although they DO pay on time, so I guess that is a bonus.

Cons

Telescope pays way below market rate, and overworks their employees. They set unreasonable deadlines, and set people up to fail. When you do fail, your very likely to get fired. I have never worked at anyplace that had a higher churn rate. People get fired frequently, and often for reasons beyond their control. Management does not take responsibility for failure, rather preferring instead to punish people further down the food chain.

Pros

Really fun people to work with, growing company, constantly working on something new and challenging, good amount of PTO days (though no sick days)

Cons

Really poor pay, can be very stressful due to timelines and unclear requirements, a lot of turnover compared to other places I've worked, CEO is checked out
