I have been working at TIAA full-time

    Pros

Monetary compensation. (Basic salary plus bonus).

    Cons

Lack/scaling back of flexible/home working is a disgrace in this modern era. No real diversity & inclusion.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the countless reports that if you don't offer flexible working, people leave to work places that do. I'm sure the senior management get a chauffeur to drive them 15 mins into the office from their penthouse every day. Try commuting for hours a day on public transport. Judge people on their work output, not hours spent in the office.

I worked at TIAA full-time for more than 3 years

        Pros

The atmosphere is relaxed. The participants you speak with are very interesting, respected, and usually well mannered. TIAA does an overall good job in satisfying participants needs and reasonable requests.

        Cons

To many metrics. Metrics for a contact center are needed to manage. But by far this is to the extreme, worst aspect of the position. Bonuses are affected by metrics and those who take less calls end up having better metrics. Ex. TIAA hasn’t figured out those who really work hard take more calls in return get more surveys. The risk for a bad survey increases. Bad surveys may just be unrelated to your interaction. However...

        Advice to Management

Management has no say they just want their team on the leaderboard. The upper management that comes up with these gimmicks need to realize metrics are great but when taken to the extreme hurts employee moral. This maybe why there isn’t much of a seniority aspect to some positions/groups.
