I worked at TOTAL full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good on training. Positive atmosphere. Good work is appreciated. Good benefits.

    Cons

Top heavy. Going abroad seemingly a necessity for career progression. Head office sometimes more of an obstruction than an assistance. Global cost cutting sometimes inefficiently targeted.

    Advice to Management

Reward and trust high performing employees better. Cut back on the acronyms and cheesy slogans. Weigh up cost cutting initiatives better: is it worth upsetting your team for negligible savings?
