    Pros

    - good co-workers
    - reward system

    Cons

    - favoritism is not appreciated especially is that certain employee is bad at their job or is your friend or is a female employee.
    - change the shifts back to where they were - and if you don't make everyone work late not just lower level employees / people working late already
    - realize the reason there is a shortage of staff is because when people are trained and leave/fired: the training was bad, they won't work the shift patterns, they are fired over something stupid.
    - realize that people are leaving for similar positions
    - give opportunities for people who are decent instead of the inner "clique" of friends.

    Advice to Management

invest in all the staff - not just a inner clique of people.

I worked at TSYS|Total System Services full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    The people are great. Mostly.
MK office is in a pretty setting
    Flexible working
If you don't need a decent wage it's great

    Cons

    Management haven't got a clue
You're expected to do the work of 4 people on your own
    Expectations are highly unrealistic
    No support or real progression

    Advice to Management

Come back to the real world with expectations of your staff and set expectations to your clients. Treat staff better. Make more internal audits to iron out the creases.

    Pros

Nice location by the lake and easy to get to. There are some good and decent managers there.

    Cons

The culture is led by the leadership team. In one of the support teams the entire team have voluntarily left in the last few months... one by one.....because they cannot bear it anymore. Each year there is a band new team and this has gone on for years and years. Those facts speak for themselves. Another one left this week. The culture is too oppressive - when the stewards of the company culture get it so badly wrong themselves...it holds no hope for the rest of the business.

    Advice to Management

I've worked there for many years and see that the domineering 'leadership' just continues year in and year out until it affects peoples lives and well being to the degree they go sick and then leave. Live by your company 'values' rather than just putting them on the wall and ignoring them. Show some 'integrity' and listen to what you have been told and fix the problem rather than ignoring it to the detriment of the culture. Hire decent people and let them get on with their job without crushing them until they cannot cope. Look at the example it sets the rest of the business. Do you really think it is a 'great place to work' with the current culture? Do you really think morale is high and people love working there? Do you really think everyone is inspired and motivated by the current leadership culture? A good leader is the conductor of the orchestra... not the lead violin.

    Pros

Quick start dates, on site parking, free tea and coffee, cheap canteen, near bus routes

    Cons

10 of 14 people in the training group left, shifts are the worst I've ever seen, minimum wage, no work life balance, awful place to work

    Advice to Management

Maybe you should consider why so many people leave. Would you wish to work 11:30-22:00 or 09:30-20:00?!

    Pros

Great opportunities at every level, you just need to be as enthusiastic as possible - people will help but it's your career. Some great people and a real positive attitude to make things happen.

    Cons

As the business has become more successful issues like parking have come up - if you work there it's a good thing - it means business is good. Some unpleasant people at the parent which is a shame.

    Advice to Management

Don't ever forget that it's the staff on the floor who make as much of an impact as everyone else.
