      Pros

A company always striving to improve. In constant communication with employees regarding wider business matters. All inclusive and welcoming ethos. Opportunities for training and development. Strong interdepartmental teams who provide plenty of support and encouragement. Generous salary and many other perks. Rigid processes. I personally enjoy having the autonomy over my work but the support of my department when required. Keep to deadlines and provide what is required. They also aim to keep you within your local area.

      Cons

None, I am really happy working here.

      Taylor Wimpey Response

      Head of Resourcing

Hello and thank you for your review. Great to hear your views on development opportunities to learn more about other areas of the business outside of your discipline. We believe it's critical to increase your internal business breadth before you progress within the organisation. In terms of staffing, our regional business leaders continue to monitor the resource available during what is a challenging and busy time for the organisation. If recruitment is required it needs to be for a long term need rather than increasing headcount for any seasonally busy periods.

      Pros

Pay and benefits are above current market, staff were looked after during the pandemic. Good support network of colleagues with excellent training and personal development opportunities.

Long hour, low pay and micromanagement

      Pros

Flexibility in working hours, relaxed and pleasant enough bosses.

      Cons

Long working hours with paltry pay. A very cheaply clicky working environment, boring tedious unprogressive job role with an unhelpful, ever scheduling meeting and micro-managing chosen line manager who can never let people get on with it.

      Pros

Company benefits were great, well looked after, friendly and career looked after. Christmas was shut down so that all employees got to enjoy the time with family and that meant a lot. They also understand family commitments.

      Cons

Can’t think of anything that really comes to mind.

      Pros

Lovely sales team, positive, caring and generally just all round a great place to work.

      Cons

The company appears to be stuck in the past, low spec, old house designs and not going for a modern approach to house styles.
