    Pros

Temenos is a fast-paced working environment and everyone has the opportunity to contribute - it's exiciting to be part of something that is growing. The people are friendly, passionate and smart.

    Cons

The working environment, process and tools are out of date for a leading technology firm.

    Advice to Management

Take our own medicine - if we want to be seen like an innovative, cutting-edge technology partner - then we should be given the tools and working environment to behave like that. If we feel it, we'll sell it to customers that way.

I have been working at Temenos full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are some really great people who work there. Most are friendly but the departments are very siloed. Its either you have been there for 5 months or 5 years or 20 years. its really strange dynamic. leader in their business. but its all about sales and no care for its people.
Only white males on the executive board.

    Cons

Growing too fast and can't keep up. they have the ugliest offices, so depressing and uninspiring. Hate to be there and nothing you would show clients. Exec pressure to favorites is crazy. you are rewarded for your good work by being plucked to do more work or projects on top of your full time job so most people work 60-80 hours a week. really unhealthy and your managers dont care.

    Advice to Management

Review each department and add support staff. your staff are drowning in work and we are over it. This is causing the the high turnover. Actually care about your staff and develop them. Really boring culture in the offices.

    Pros

Great work life balance, friendly atmosphere.

    Cons

Very few pay rises, long term employees do not seem to gain recognition. Money is not distributed fairly between departments. Political issues at the top.

    Advice to Management

    Recognise your long term employees

I have been working at Temenos full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The pay is pretty good (with caveats: see Cons!). Allowed to work from home as often as is reasonable. The company is the market leader, so potential to do well exists, at least in theory.

    Cons

One single pay rise in the entire time I was there. Few bonuses paid, because of ridiculous unachievable targets. No technical training given in order to do the job, you just have to find ways to teach yourself.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to learn that bonuses should be incentives. To set a target which is met in full, butthen turn around and say you will only be paying just over half of what was promised (and then only to certain people) does nothing other than lower morale and make staff believe that future bonuses won't be paid either.

    "Negative Culture"

    Former Employee - Professional
    Former Employee - Professional

I worked at Temenos full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Just location. Some decent people, but they usually leave the company very quickly. Senior management is ok, but mid management has to be changed completely.

    Cons

Negative culture, silo mentality, no support and trust. The work-life balance only exists for the people who have been there for a very long time. Division and politics between long-tenure staff and new joiners, unwelcome atmosphere.
Poor office premises, staff fights over little basket of fruits. No team bonding activities.

    Advice to Management

Bring people with fresh ideas and allow them to make a change and challenge the status quo! Provide support and clear direction, set an effective performance management, instead of fire mentality. Boost the engagement of the long standing employee and manage them - they are the trouble. HR UK needs a big change.

    Cons

Biased & partiality at all levels
Senior & top management unfit for any purpose apart from warming of chairs
Lots of back staabbing by manager-favorite staff !

    Advice to Management
