    Pros

Great People, Entrepreneurial Culture, empowerment to talents / hard working people, flexibility, great management, hard work is noticed and appreciated

    Cons

less salary compare to market bench marking, less people in most of the department as have heard many colleagues saying they are loaded with so much of work (however it seems every one is enjoying it! :) )

    Advice to Management

Reward all employees fairly and more as company grows

    • Senior Management
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee in London, England

I worked at Temenos full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Some good people, but they don't last. Office location is good and OK benefits.

    Cons

Terrible culture. In order to work flexible you have to "earn it" Flexibility only for certain people. New joiners are not welcomed, as they are seen as a threat, having up-to date skills and knowledge. Good people are leaving as a result and company's turnover is a recruiter's ream.

    Advice to Management

Change the long tenured disengaged management and incompetent HR. Bias HR (UK) who has been there for too long and formed a little mafia club. Encourage motivated people who challenge the status quo. Promote transparency and have a team building initiatives.

I worked at Temenos full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Pros Interesting solutions and a lot of changes that give you the opportunity to learn about innovative technology. Some people are nice....some! but few!

    Cons

The atmosphere in marketing is very toxic especially due to the marketing leadership , who is an authocratic that just directs and micro manages and lacks strategic marketing vision . The CMO has been called a bully by many people and is known to give speaches that make you cringe at how he talks about people as if they are machines , some people said he swears at employees and keeps grudges which will get you fired (...

    Advice to Management

You do not value people's skills, you do not encourage their initiative and creativity, so your good people will leave! If you recicle the same SLT memebers in CEO positions and move them from one role to another role at C-level, nothing will ever change.. Don't tell people " when you join you are told a direction and you have to start running"..that really means that you expect people not to think about what they are...

I worked at Temenos full-time for more than 9 years

    Pros

Flexible working available including working from home Travel Location of offices

    Cons

Praise for favourites (most of whom take credit for others work) Same people doing all the work Strange employee review process (popularity contest)

    Advice to Management

HR doesn't follow best practice and favours doing what is best to avoid conflict with senior management, this is leading to horrendous morale issues that are now well know both inside and outside the company. This is effecting recruitment.

I have been working at Temenos full-time

    Pros

Temenos is a fast-paced working environment and everyone has the opportunity to contribute - it's exiciting to be part of something that is growing. The people are friendly, passionate and smart.

    Cons

The working environment, process and tools are out of date for a leading technology firm.

    Advice to Management

Take our own medicine - if we want to be seen like an innovative, cutting-edge technology partner - then we should be given the tools and working environment to behave like that. If we feel it, we'll sell it to customers that way.

I have been working at Temenos full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

There are some really great people who work there. Most are friendly but the departments are very siloed. Its either you have been there for 5 months or 5 years or 20 years. its really strange dynamic. leader in their business. but its all about sales and no care for its people. Only white males on the executive board.

    Cons

Growing too fast and can't keep up. they have the ugliest offices, so depressing and uninspiring. Hate to be there and nothing you would show clients. Exec pressure to favorites is crazy. you are rewarded for your good work by being plucked to do more work or projects on top of your full time job so most people work 60-80 hours a week. really unhealthy and your managers dont care.

    Advice to Management

Review each department and add support staff. your staff are drowning in work and we are over it. This is causing the the high turnover. Actually care about your staff and develop them. Really boring culture in the offices.

Great work life balance, friendly atmosphere.

    Cons

Very few pay rises, long term employees do not seem to gain recognition. Money is not distributed fairly between departments. Political issues at the top.

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Temenos full-time for more than 20 years

    Pros

The pay is pretty good (with caveats: see Cons!). Allowed to work from home as often as is reasonable. The company is the market leader, so potential to do well exists, at least in theory.

    Cons

One single pay rise in the entire time I was there. Few bonuses paid, because of ridiculous unachievable targets. No technical training given in order to do the job, you just have to find ways to teach yourself.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to learn that bonuses should be incentives. To set a target which is met in full, butthen turn around and say you will only be paying just over half of what was promised (and then only to certain people) does nothing other than lower morale and make staff believe that future bonuses won't be paid either.
