I have been working at Tesco part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Decent pay, flexible hours, good management (depending on the storen ofc)

    Cons

Can be very stressful, might be left on your own with no one to help during the most stressful times of the day, feels like there is no point in trying to get in to management since everyone is constantly being made redundant

I have been working at Tesco part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The team are very friendly, flexible working hours if you need to swap swifts. 10% discount - 20% on some weekends.

    Cons

You are watched and talked about by every manager. They will time you on a short 15 minute break, yet ring each other to have a coffee in the canteen for over an hour - the longest break is hour and a half (which needs splitting up) then you'd see them in there again for another hour. No motivation for you to do better.

    Advice to Management

Be kinder, and don't be so hypocritical. If you're going to shout at a colleague on the shop floor for doing something out of line, don't then go and do it yourself!
