Pros

1. Since the end of last year, their leave policy became really good. Apart from 1 birthday leave and anniversary leave each, they had separate regular leave, bereavement leave, maternity leave, etc. options. 2. Permanent WFH was also great for those not living close to the Bangalore office. 3. Salary gets credited on the last working day of each month without fail

Cons

Practically everything else, some of which include: 1. Incapable managers get promoted multiple times a year due to nepotism and sweet-talking. 2. Incredibly high workload for a single person. During my time there, I got to work with someone who I found out was single-handedly managing work that needed at least 6-7 more people. 3. No attention to the quality of content. More attention to quantity than quality. 4. Incredibly high turnover rate. More than 80% of the people I was working with last year have left. 5. Everything revolves around favouritism. Competence or capability is ignored - if the manager likes you, then you are more likely to get promoted, no matter how many or the scale of escalation you got. 6. No scope of professional growth 7. No fixed working hours. So, work can go on from 9.30 in the morning to 9.30 at the night or possibly even later for some teams. 8. They also hired a differently abled person for the sake of inclusion and diversity, but no one was willing to accommodate their needs and ultimately they left after only 10 days. There is a lot more that is wrong but will just conclude my thoughts with these 8 points.

Pros

1. They arrange for good off-sites. 2. Free Lunch

Cons

1. Highly toxic environment and immense politics 2. Employees are undervalued, overworked 3. Extreme favouritism, please their ego for a raise 4. Over involvement of Management in personal lives of the employees 5. There is this “person” that rules the company. How to indulge in politics and toxic corporate tactics can be learned from this certain someone 6. Lot of top-notch talk and promises, nothing will materialise 7. Management lies outright and spreads rumours 8. Belief that only what the management says is right, despite suggestions from domain-experienced employees

This is a Covid-time review. Dear former employee (if at all), Firstly, I understand the issues we all went through during Covid times. This was not just us but across the board many companies, employees faced hardships. Though we were very comfortable and stable (thanks to your employees, clients and investors) we had to make tough decisions in certain required cases. I understand that this is not the best outcome. We are in the end messengers who try to channel your efforts in the right direction and do our best. Unfortunately, we have not done well in your case. However, there are other amazing success stories too. I would request a fair review as we retained more than 90% of the staff during Covid and growth stories from writers to departmental heads, editors to operational heads are plenty.

Pros

Good ambiance in office, free lunches, good off-sites. Helpful colleagues.

Cons

I worked at this place for more than a year and a half. 1. There is no structure in place. You'd hired for something and asked to do something else. 2. Immense favoritism. People with lesser experience than you would be asked to lead a team just because they are chummy with the management. 3. All talk, nothing materializes eventually. False promises. 4. Horrible exit policy. There is no structure again, no clarity. The management/ reporting manager will not want to abide by the contract, just because he can! 5. Dues are not cleared on time. You have to follow up in-numerous times asking for clarity on pending payment, release documents and the likes of it. Overall, what started off as a good opportunity just ended up in a lot of regret, and a sigh of relief at being able to get out of here.

This is a Covid-time review. There is an exit process in place, please do email higher management in-case something was delayed. During Covid times its was much of a challenge to manage the new normal and getting processes together. We are back now. Sorry for any delay you had to face.
