I worked at The LEGO Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great work/life balance. Great office environment Hiring is based on skill initially but you have to fit to the company culture more than anything. If you fit they'll get you up to speed. If you fit, you really fit.

    Cons

Immature IT department that is very stuck in an old school IT/Customer style model. End users are not given much if any credit for their IT skills. People stay in the same role for very long periods of time and very often shift from their current department to another to move up.

I worked at The LEGO Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Work is FUN - everyday you play with LEGO! - Work/Life balance is taken very seriously and you get to have a LIFE aswell as WORK! - You meet so many different people and get to know the business so well due to the flexible seating within the office - You work how you want to work, you're treated like an adult and you're trusted - Culture and values are central to everything and you are very much encouraged to keep those values in mind with all decisions that are made - Flat hierarchy, the family are still very much at the heart of LEGO

    Cons

    - Promotions are quite hard to come by - Reduce meeting culture - Make it easier to stop something that isn't working rather than proving it doesn't work - I no longer work there :(

I worked at The LEGO Group part-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Good atmosphere to work in. - Working there will help you come out of your shell if you're a shy person. - You get proper training on how to be customer focused. - You get to play with Lego all day everyday. - Work days can be really good if you're with the right people.

    Cons

    - The pay isn't worth the amount of work that is expected of you, especially that your work and efforts are not really recognised. - Excessively increased hours even if you only intended to work part time so your work life balance can get thrown off.

I have been working at The LEGO Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Amazing company to work for, good work life balance, lots of perks, reputable brand, working with a highly motivated team, large company but still somehow has managed to retain the family feel to it.

    Cons

Some parts are still like a start up, other parts there are processes for the sake of processes, also meeting culture can be annoying.

    "I love going to "work""

    StarStarStarStarStar
    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at The LEGO Group full-time

    Pros

    - I have never had a job where i actually look forward to Monday and weekdays, i absolutely love my job. I think i have the coolest job in the world! - Work/Life balance is real - no 'set' hours and family time is taken very seriously (typically Danish!) you will not be burning out because your team and manager will take care of you - Everyone has a passion for the brand and what LEGO as a whole is trying to achieve, a very collaborative working environment - The office - if you haven't seen anything online (FT times, The Secret World of LEGO Documentary) then take a look, it is exactly what you think it'd be like...and better - A friendly and unique way of working - NWOW and activity based working allows you to be independent and work how YOU work best - Management, there is no micro managing and hand holding

    Cons

    - Some processes aren't yet in place and some systems need updating - but the good part about that is when you create these you can shape them how you think would work best

    Cons

Sometimes too insular - not the most diverse or dynamic collection of people
