    Extremely Flexible Hours ( great for students)

    Cons

    No room for growth
    You Must work Holidays, No Excuse
    Guidelines and rules Constantly changing
    Pay Stays the same ( Union Based)
    Conflict of Interest with employees and Management
     Long Hours During Hallowen and Christmas Season.

    The people there are all really great to work with and it's a fun place to work. There are many employees that have been there for a very long time.

    Cons

    They tend to not fire employees that do not do their job or hold them accountable.

    Hold employees responsible

    Easy job, chill coworkers, and the ship is okay

    Cons

    Almost everything about the management but thank god their out now, I hear new management is good.

    Pros

    One of the Best jobs you could have working in the hotel business. you felt like it was a family

    Cons

    Working long and late hours. they would condensing jobs so you would be doing the job of three or four people

    Advice to Management

    treat people the way you would like to be treated you get a whole lot more from them in the long run

    Pros

    The pay is adequate and there are bonuses included (access to certain events). Location and history is great.

    Cons

    Different departments need to work together more efficiently. Employees need to show more care to the property.

    Pros

    The history and grandeur of the ship, the events, flexible scheduling.

    Cons

    Monotonous work, can be dramatic, lacking core values, departments don't work well together.

    Advice to Management

    Create succinct core values so that employees are working to the same goal. This would enable more accurate hiring because you can then instill those goals in new hires. More incentives to work hard.

    -Employees are friendly and know each other well
    -Got discounts to Queen Mary hotel and events

    Cons

    -Management didn't seem to have it together
    -schedules came out late
    -had to work on holidays (although that's to be expected in this industry)

    Take the time to listen to your employees' needs

    Pros

    There is a huge potential for growth internally; company likes to hide from within. In addition, there is plenty of diversity.

    Cons

    Management has a hard time communicating effectively sometimes. Also, the antique nature of the work place makes it difficult to satisfy all of guests needs.

    Advice to Management

    Plan accordingly ahead of time, and have more communication. Also be ready to confront challenges as management should take initiative in doing so.
