      I have been working at The&Partnership full-time

      Pros

Great Team Spirit - No matter which account or project you are working on there is always a sense that everyone on the team needs to take accountability for the work which is being created. Staff welfare - The agency has a number of initiatives to continual improve the welfare of their staff. From yoga classes to organised team nights out, there is always something available.

      Cons

As with a lot of the industry, diversity within the agency is not representative of the stories in which we tell. However, I do know that this is high on the agency's agenda.

I worked at The&Partnership full-time for less than a year

        Pros

Decent contract and perks. Got to work from home on Mac laptop from time to time.

        Cons

Ineffective leadership, no induction or personal development plan for employees, no HR advice or line management support given, expected to work long hours daily. Hire and fire mentality. Horrible political and egocentric working atmosphere with high staff turn over.

        Advice to Management

Get the operational procedures and systems sorted out first before bothering to hire new employees.

I have been working at The&Partnership full-time for more than a year

        Pros

The people you work with are wonderfully supportive and very talented. There is strong female leadership across departments, which is really inspiring. The agency is creatively ambitious, constantly trying to push for more interesting and better work, for all clients People genuinely like and respect each other throughout the agency, which makes it a great place to go to work each day, and lots of fun

        Cons

Communication can sometimes be lacking, meaning things end up being more difficult than they should be

        I have been working at The&Partnership full-time

        Pros

Very positive and supportive environment - in my first job after graduating, I was given lots of help and attention that gave me the confidence to do my job to the best of my ability. Fun! There is a real effort made by people at all levels to make the agency a good place to be and work, and to help people get to know each other, especially with things like 'Well Good Fun' (three committees that take care of wellness,...

        Cons

Given the flexibility of the working environment, sometimes the right process isn't totally clear, and work isn't done in the most efficient way. Not much negative to say at all - difficult to know how it compares since it is my first job in the industry.

          I have been working at The&Partnership full-time

          Pros

The agency is full of passionate, enthusiastic and hard-working individuals, meaning really brilliant work is continually produced. It has a collaborative feel, there is a lot of solid team work and support. Something that makes CHI different to other places I've worked at, are the training sessions that encourage the whole agency to get involved and to think outside the box.

          Cons

There can be late nights, which can be expected across any agency in busy periods.

I have been working at The&Partnership full-time for less than a year

            Pros

Extremely collaborative environment - the agency philosophy that a good idea can come from anywhere certainly holds true. There are constant meetings with creatives/planners/account men where ideas and creative are discussed - everyone's view seems listened to. Working with people, both junior and senior, that draw out the best in you. I've felt like I've had to be constantly on-the-ball and sharp because of the people...

            Cons

It has been very stressful at times. I've been given responsibility from day one and, as someone new to advertising, this has sometimes felt like a lot to manage and I've made a fair few mistakes. That being said, I consider it a positive in the long-run. It's meant I've learnt very quickly, developing skills and understandings that were alien to me a few months ago. It's made me feel more confident, more quickly.

            Advice to Management

I don't feel I have enough experience to give advice that is fair - maybe ask me in a year!

I worked at The&Partnership full-time for less than a year

            Pros

CHI on the CV looks good and my team were great

            Cons

After just a couple of months with CHI I found out the client my team worked with was up for pitch. With months of hard work, uncertainty and a total lack of communication or motivation from management we found out we had won the pitch. Unfortunately during the pitch process the business model changed and it was decided the team would be imbedded within the clients offices in another country – essentially putting the...

            Advice to Management

I have always heard negative things about London advertising agencies not being good to their staff and that has now been confirmed. Management and the business as a whole could do with valuing all its teams and staff. Since starting I noticed our team was almost treated as the dark sheep of the family – never being mentioned in news letters or praised for our hard work even though we worked on probably the most lucrative...
