    I have been working at The&Partnership full-time

    Pros

Great Team Spirit - No matter which account or project you are working on there is always a sense that everyone on the team needs to take accountability for the work which is being created. Staff welfare - The agency has a number of initiatives to continual improve the welfare of their staff. From yoga classes to organised team nights out, there is always something available.

    Cons

As with a lot of the industry, diversity within the agency is not representative of the stories in which we tell. However, I do know that this is high on the agency's agenda.

I have been working at The&Partnership

    Pros

Working on site for a large client. Friendly team members.

    Cons

Poor management. No people skills. Be-little people, with a blame culture. Low salary packages and a poor relation compared to the client you are working within.. A hire and fire culture , with a high turnover.

I worked at The&Partnership full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The client base is high quality and the output on the big clients is fantastic, award winning work. If you are a creative, there is a great opportunity to make a name for yourself.

    Cons

It's very old school ad agency in it's approach. The client service team are a lot of over confident, silver spooners who seem to be plucked from the same private school and as such, there is very little diversity within the team. The senior management are very removed from the majority of the staff unless you're a 'favourite' or within the 'in crowd' which is very elitest and requires you to do a lot of sucking up, drinking and preferably....white stuff. Sounds very judgemental but the honest opinion. Everyone is nice enough but not particularly welcoming and tend to stick to their cliques. The wider creative and production teams are much more diverse.

    Pros

This is a fairly new on-site agency model in Edinburgh (2 years), which has dealt with a lot of change and challenges, but all for the better. It's growing and growing, due to its successes and overcoming challenges. And it is tackling future change head-on, inviting everyone to get involved and affect change - with LT not afraid to get stuck in and work hard too. If you're hard working and have a positive outlook, then you'll be recognised for it here. This place has a culture of praising and patting on the back for a job well done - and often. It really makes a difference and makes you feel valued. There's a real team vibe here too, all striving to deliver great work and build great relationships with clients. The majority of people here are all genuinely extremely lovely people to work with, with no hidden agenda and with a vision to make this a great place to work. The output of work is phenomenal in volume and in quality., we have some very talented creative and film staff. You get the change to work on cross-channel briefs, so you can gain experience in lots of different types of deliverables and campaigns. They are big on health and wellbeing, and flexible working, and the site has a lot to offer from shopping, great food outlets and hairdresser - even lunchtime shoulder massages if you want to de-stress! If you want to be part of an organisation where you can affect change, and change is not feared as a bad thing, then this is the place for you. It's great to be able to influence ways of working and making things better.

    Cons

There can be negativity which breeds, but LT are quick to recognise and help influence a change in this attitude. Not everyone on the team brings the same positive attitude, which is disappointing. Processes have been challenging and improving but there's more improvement and change to be implemented, so can be a bit unsettling to begin with if you're new.

I have been working at The&Partnership full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Change does happen. If you do a good job then you are valued and recognised. The team in Edinburgh is going from strength to strength. Great new people with a desire to make a difference. If you have a good attitude and can work well in a team then they offer fantastic opportunities for growth. Big clients and campaigns and the ability to build and influence client relationships. I have experienced inspiring and supportive leadership. I am challenged to do my best but supported when I need help. Almost all of the managers are willing to roll their sleeves up and get involved. If you want to be able to affect change and make a difference then this could be the place for you. Salary and the ability to work from home.

    Cons

There are always things that can be improved. Not everyone on the team brings the same positive attitude, which is disappointing. There is no place to hide here so you need to be confident in your own abilities and be able to do your job well. I would not recommend it to people who don't like change or are work shy. The & Model in Edinburgh is only 2 years old so is constantly changing and evolving like a start up. Processes are improving but can be challenging so If you want an easy ride with it all laid out on a plate, then it wont be for you.

I have been working at The&Partnership full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Decent salary, some flexible working opportunities

    Cons

The leadership team is ineffective and does not address challenges. There is no induction, no actual HR on-site, no real employee development plan or strategy. There is little-to-no line management support of any kind, save for a few select employees. The systems and processes are inefficient and the department is disorganised. Favouritism is a huge problem and the environment is very political. There is also a big problem with negativity, but Management isn't interested in tackling the real reasons for it, they simply blame employees. Hours are very long and workload is extremely heavy. Staff turnover is very high as a result.

    Pros

Decent contract and perks. Got to work from home on Mac laptop from time to time.

    Cons

Ineffective leadership, no induction or personal development plan for employees, no HR advice or line management support given, expected to work long hours daily. Hire and fire mentality. Horrible political and egocentric working atmosphere with high staff turn over.
