I worked at Toni & Guy full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Great brand Family business Well respected company

      Cons

Leadership team sack people randomly They LOVE people that suck up, even when they are useless at their jobs HR team are almost useless, don't know current rules and regulations act as the mouthpieces of the bosses Staff don't get thanked when you go over-and-above (worked 18 days in a row over fashion week? you should be grateful!)

      Advice to Management

Step back and let the specialists do their job Appreciate the talent that you have in the company Stop listening to yes people Have some respect for the team - working for 'the brand' isn't enough

I worked at Toni & Guy full-time for more than 10 years

        Pros

Great system of education Infastructure and promotion prospects. Market / brand leaders Established 50 years so well respected within the industry. High standards of hairdressing and customer service

        Cons

The company has expanded too quickly in the past 10 years. Opened too many salons and diluted the brand. Allowed poor managers to run salons Franchisees have no support from head office when things go wrong. Head office will come in and take your business if you are behind with royalties or even just out of favour
