I have been working at Total Quality Logistics full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Office environment and culture is the best you will find anywhere. The people and the ability to make uncapped commission are the reason I stay with TQL. You have to put the work in everyday, or you will struggle in this industry and position. If you are willing to work hard, make sacrifices and build a quality book of business, the payoff can be unbelievable and living changing.

    Cons

Some people struggle with making the sacrifices needed in the short term to achieve long term success. Work life balance may be tough to manage while building your book of business but not impossible to have both.

    Pros

You work 9 to 5ish and every other Saturday

    Cons

They have everyone calling the same leads all the time. It's more of a luck thing then a skill thing. Little to no training

I worked at Total Quality Logistics full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Beer drop on Friday, but really this is just a mask for the slimy work they have you do.

    Cons

700 Layoffs in one of the toughest times we have seen in years. That should be enough to say No. If not, be sure that you are okay with minimum wage, no commission for hard work, and if you get fired - they'll just pass your big accounts to the highest earners in the company. #PyramidScheme. Still not enough? They just underwent a massive data breach where most Carrier Information was stolen, and Customers made very unhappy. Class Act Lawsuit to follow.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Total Quality Logistics

    Pros

Steady paycheck while you find something better

    Cons

No work/life balance Cheap pay for hours worked No real growth opportunities On call 24/7/365 Glorified telemarking sales job Weak training program Someone with 6mo. On the job is considered a “senior” broker and tasked with helping train new hires. You and your new hire class will all be fired or have quit before the 2yr mark. Very limited and picked over customer database. Pyramid scheme commission structure. Any commission is relative to clients paying on time all at the same time which rarely happens. Then it has to be over what your salary pay would be. If the client has done business with TQL before your commission is lower, to the point you are almost working for free.
