I have been working at Towergate Insurance full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Don't trust any reviews before March of 2016, the company is on the up and senior management have been changed. The old management were appalling, but just look who has joined in the last 3 months, they are seriously talented. We have some Interims who have also joined lately and they are bringing so much needed knowledge- one of them is works in Procurement and he is fantastic, made such an enormous impact already not just with the Suppliers but also on morale (hoping he stays!). Now is a great time to join Towergate, I have been here for a while now and 2016 will be the best ever.

    Cons

We do have a few negative people left, they write the negative reviews. True we are not there yet but we are on our way

I have been working at Towergate Insurance full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Makes you appreciate how good things are when you are not there.

    Cons

The company gets rid of all of their good people through redundancy. Does not invest in their central support functions. Hodge podge of systems. When they go wrong, following redundancies, no one has the experience or knowledge to support them. Seems to be very much 'if your face fits'. Exec team are idolised, and treated like gods. They know it, and act accordingly. Money wasted on the wrong things, but then no one is allowed to buy to buy even a mouse without a signature in blood from God and his brother. Contractors - 'friends' of the exec are brought in on huge wages to cover for jobs left by those who have been made redundant.
