I have been working at Trafigura full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Free meals, trips abroad and drop-pickup. Work can be monotonous but the attrition helps one move up faster.

    Cons

Work is too monotonous and administrative in nature.

I have been working at Trafigura full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Working around smart people, lots of potential for growth. Travelling opportunities. You learn a lot about how the world really works, along with trying to be a part of how to shape it. Lots of independence in the way you do things.

    Cons

Lot of hasty decisions barely thought out, lot of people who over think the importance of what they do. In a lot of cases, the Mumbai team is thought of as a back office which isn't true to a large extent

    Advice to Management

Be more clear about your decisions, communicate with the team well. Understand that some things are not as important as you build them up to be in your mind. Focus on actual impact items instead. "Growth for the sake of growth is the ideology of the cancer cell."
