    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Transport for London full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great people (some of the best people I've ever had the pleasure of working with) Focus on sustainable pace Focus on technical excellence for products built in house Great work-life balance and great holiday allowance Free travel within London Good diversity (could always be better) Great brand, most people do believe in the motto "Every journey matters"

    Cons

Slow job progression Large parts of the organisation are very resistant to change Preference for outsourcing projects instead of building in house Slow decision making and no real organisational-wide prioritisation Very political in places

I worked at Transport for London full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Free Oyster for you and someone you live with Great culture Flexible working Focus on people development Great pay

    Cons

Slow progression - you have to wait for someone to leave for promotion to be an option Slow to make decisions - really political environment Constant 'change' programmes, meaning redundancies happen every couple of years No budget for most projects

    Advice to Management

Senior management often felt very far removed and wouldn't take into account feedback from people lower down the ladder.

    Pros

Lots of opportunity to move around Everyone in the company believes in the brand

    Cons

Takes so long to get anything done with bureaucracy and ever-changing management decisions Incredibly hard to manage poor performing employees so they just move around the company

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Transport for London full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Flexible working, nice people, loads of training, free travel. Good learning space if you are a junior professional or have a family and need the flexibility.

    Cons

Extremely low ceiling. People stay there forever and there are almost no opportunities for progression beyond becoming a Commercial Manager. Some senior people are extremely lazy which can be very frustrating
