I worked at Travco (UK) full-time

    Pros

It depends what department you are working for and manager. It might be not that bad in contracting but in FIT is hell!

    Cons

No flexibility at all in FIT, very low pay rises if any! No vision in the company, managers not adapting quickly enough with current situation! Big overload because company is making cost cuts!

    Advice to Management

Managers need to be more approachable! Fit is managed like a prison- no breakfast at your desk or lunch while working, no flexi hours!

I have been working at Travco (UK) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Few great people to work with. Company allows you to travel often (don’t forget to give back the coins from your petty cash)

    Cons

Management is awful. The owners care only about the money they can get from employees. There’s even now their sons working in the company, they’re are 20/25 and already managers (without experience obv).
The company let go a lots of people to save money while they hired the kids. Great.
If you want to grow at travco, you have to friend with managers or be in a relationship with the owners or theirs kids. Here’s your ambition

    Advice to Management

Sell the company to the competitors !! You’re not good to run a business.

I worked at Travco (UK) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The work environment at Travco is really nice. I had a great time working there for two years with an amazing team, where everyone is helping
each other out. I started as a Freesale Executive and became a hotel contractor after one and a half years. It was a great time there. Nice working hours of 7.5 hours with flexi time! You start with low money, but get a pay rise at least once a year, which is great. Very relaxed work life.

    Cons

No sick pay for the first year, only 5 days sick pay for the second year. Not much potential of advancement and enough money for me sadly. Many people are leaving or are being replaced in Romania to keep the costs low.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees. There is some approval and building work needed.

I worked at Travco (UK) full-time

    Pros

Good location, nice people to work with (not the management level ones) and easy interview.

    Cons

All staff like to gossip and love gossipping, even the top level management including Directors. Unprofessional and untrained Managers/Supervisors. You will get promotion if your Manager likes you, not because of your hard work but because you can kiss their a... They all are hypocrite!
Low wages and they don't pay the overtime. The company don't really care about the valuable people who dedicated their life to work there, also they don't know how to keep these valuable employees and as a result, the company has a massive staffs turnover.

    Advice to Management

Value and appreciate people who work for you if you want your business to be successful! Reward your dedicated employees because of their hard work and STOP gossiping and meddling other people's business too much!

I worked at Travco (UK) full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good location and good people and this is all about it
Salary rises only if you are favourite to managers and bonus the same and not according to how good you are.

    Cons

Company is not like used to be couple of years ago. Management is cutting expenses with every way possible and this has massive impact to employees. You work more overtimes because they short of stuff and low moral. Hard working employees not appreciated and only promoted the ones are favourite from managers. There is no trust around. They are firing people with excuses of redundancy but only the ones are not favourite to them. There is no flexibility in every way and full of restriction on everything. They hire people to Bucharest which they pay much less and they lost image because the productivity is not good anymore. Many mistakes from the new departments which making your daily life horrible as you are trying to avoid as less mess as possible. HR department is not existing and you been terrorised because you stayed home sick. They would rather prefer people who pretend to work instead the ones who really are. Promotion is not exist and they do not appreciate the hard working employees. After a while working there whatever nice you have for yourself they manage to destroy it. Ruthless management and directors.

    Advice to Management

You should put a lock and close this company as is from top to button horrible place to work and everyone cannot wait to get fired with compensation and leave.
