I worked at Trintech full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great people, culture and a fantastic product that always works ;)

    Cons

Can't think of any apart from the fact the US and EMEA don't speak to each other!

I have been working at Trintech full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There are some excellent individual contributors in the company. Unfortunately their enthusiasm is wasted by lack of process and enablement. There is nothing horribly wrong with Trintech, just many annoyances that make it difficult to do a good job.

    Cons

Absolute lack of process. There is no onboarding process for new hires. I have watched new hires join and quickly leave because they have such little enablement. There is a lack of knowledge sharing between EMEA and US which results in huge duplication of work. There is currently a significant rate of churn and some recent new hires have been poor. The standard of new hires seems to be decreasing. For those who are ambitious, there is a lack of career progression. Those who have been promoted have often left the company before rejoining in a higher position. There is very little incentive for employees to stay for more than a couple of years. The move on to best in class companies while the mediocre remain. Salaries are below market rate so difficult to attract talent or retain staff.

    Trintech Response

    February 7, 2020Director HR - EU

The London team was very disappointed to see this review. We are proud of our growing business and the incredible market opportunity for our financial software products. As a company going through rapid growth and transformation, we are continuing to build out the systems and processes required to support the business as we scale. The opportunity at Trintech is to join a high-growth software company and to leverage your entrepreneurial spirit to help the company as it continues to expand. Truthfully, that may not appear to everyone, and we understand that. As part of our continued growth, we are very excited about some of the programs that we are launching just this month. Our Trintelligence online learning platform will provide just-in-time, bite-sized training designed build knowledge, skills, and abilities and to directly address role-based onboarding needs. Another current initiative this reviewer appears to have missed are the career path roadmaps that the global HR team has been publishing, with help from functional leaders. Finally, in terms of compensation and benefits we do regularly analyse market data to ensure we are placed competitively within in the market. The most exciting news for the European region is the recent promotion of our Manager, People and Culture and my hire in the role of HR Director Europe. We will both support the growth and development of our European team with ongoing updates to our systems and processes.

I have been working at Trintech full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Really driven management who know how to motivate their teams. Engaged and intellectual colleagues. New offices in the City. Great incentives in place for sales roles. Various boot camps to bring everyone up to speed (you can see the direct upward correlation as a result of intense training). Generous HR activities that bring the wider office together on regular occasions. Flexible environment to develop within SaaS. Above market salaries.

    Cons

Too much time given to bad hires before they are let go.
