Pros
This is a modern company to work for in terms of their attitudes and treatment of staff. The training was thorough, clear and fun, and I always feel supported by colleagues and line managers,
Cons
I have very little to add here as I really enjoy my role.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Trip.com full-time for more than a year
Pros
Was lucky to have nice colleagues. Small language teams have 9-5 working schedules. Apparently pays better than other CSA companies in Edinburgh
Cons
Apply for the same job in an another company like Trainline instead! First thing you need to understand is that this company is from China. So prepare for quantity over quality. So handling contacts as fast is possible over actually caring to solve a problem in one call to avoid future calls, you will be valued. This is how you might get lucky to get a promotion in combination with smooth talking to the right people. The management in Edinburgh is under a lot of pressure from China which trickles down to the workers. So a lot of promises and ideas but no delivery. No attention for qualitative sustainable optimization breeds an almost kafkaesque workplace. Also if you intend to work for big language teams do expect to work until 11h00 in the evening and weekends. Monthly schedule is never on time.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at Trip.com full-time for more than a year
Pros
Cultural diversity, salary a bit higher than average call centre in Edinburgh,
Cons
The management team is simply incompetent to fulfil their role. The service manager is very insecure and unable to run this team effectively. Some of the group TLs are trying but are completely unsupported and cannot be developed effectively. The operations manager tenure has been around 3 months. The Edinburgh site is running as a Chinese branch rather than a standalone business focusing on the way that European companies operate. Senior management accept everything that Chinese HQ will try to implement without even asking the basic questions showing clear lack of understanding of the processes but expecting the agents and TLs to adhere on them.
