    Best place to work

    Pros

Appreciation for staff, staff needs met, plenty of vacation time, management values staff opinions, great location, institution seeks to grow and better itself, community involvement and support, staff development and education opportunities, competitive living wages. Plenty of extracurricular activities around the area including numerous trails and wild areas to explore.

    Cons

The wheels of progress are sometimes slow, but to be expected in a non-profit setting.

Careful… some are not for Turtle Bay the non profit Museum in Redding. Ca but rather the Resort in Hawaii.

    Cons

Need more staff. The wages were low for years, but as the organization does better financially, they always increase wages.

    Pros

Everyone that I had the opportunity to work with was friendly, energetic, and a joy to be around (this includes the managers). The benefits I received after completing my 90 day probation period were great. The pay was decent for an entry level position.

    Cons

At the time of my employment, there was no over time, but the economy could be the blame for that.
