Two by Four Reviews

In the past, I shared that I felt the company was a great fit - progressive, creative, and hardworking. That definitely hasn't changed. The negative I shared was the "slow to promote/give raises" - and I can happily say that HAS changed! Since my last review, I was not only given a raise but a significant one, at that. I am very pleased with my experience at Two by Four. I feel that when you voice how you're feeling, they take it seriously. My supervisor was constantly saying they wanted me to have "a place I love to work", and we came together to figure out what that would look like. I've really enjoyed my time here, and have had the opportunity to work closely with the CEO as well and have found that I really appreciate his outlook on work. He can be sarcastic, which I can see how that might not be others' sense of humor, but he's very passionate about his work and his employees which shines. I think that care shows in the company growth, and insane commitment to us during this recession. It's nice to work at a small business where it's people first, money second. You aren't just a number, you're a name, and I value that a lot. I am glad Two by Four is one of the good guys. I'm really pleased with working here, and don't plan on leaving anytime soon.

Passionate, talented people. Leadership cared about the staff's career growth and tried to find interesting projects suited to your strengths/interests. Everyone was passionate about the work. I think the client relationships were built from that passion. I felt motivated and supported while there. The CEO was always very transparent, and I appreciated that. They try to get the best work out of you and you learn from some of the best. Generous bonus structure and ability to move up when you're ready (don't need to wait for the person above you to leave, like at the holding companies).
