Pros
UCRetirement Plan is great. UC matches 8% Dental, Vision, Health insurance in very affordable bundles Healthy work environment on the cutting edge of academic research
Cons
The only con is I don't make enough to support myself and save (outside of my retirement plan). Academic research is not the most lucrative, so I'd recommend seriously considering how important a big paycheck is to you at the end of the day.
