      Pros

      Very personal teaching and training. The professors are very knowledgable and want to help you learn more. The locations is great, awesome spot on the cost.

      Cons

      It is not very ethnically diverse. There could be limitations in the kinds of research you could do. The graduate school could be organized better. The graduate research salary is very low compared to other universities

      Pros

      I loved the students and most of my coworkers! Very collaborative campus which can be good and bad.

      Cons

      The leadership on the campus (not all of them, but 3/4ths) are absolutely delusional. I’ve never had a more toxic work environment in my life, and I’ve been in the fast food industry. They don’t care about the people doing the work. They just want to continue to boost enrollment and pay & treat staff like trash. If you’re a snake of a human, you’ll go far, get promoted. Suck up to leadership and you’ll go far. But if you stick up for your students or the little man? You’re going straight to HR.

      Pros

      Supportive colleagues across departments. Beautiful coastal campus with strong community pride. Opportunities to lead projects that directly shape student success. Work–life balance respected by most supervisors. Mission-driven environment that values education and service.

      Cons

      Bureaucratic and outdated processes can slow decision-making and innovation. Limited budget flexibility for innovation or rapid change. Compensation lags behind private sector benchmarks. Leadership doesn't trust teams to carry water and there is limited investment to develop leadership or strategic ability.
