I have been working at USAA full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

EVERYTHING ties to the mission statement. Everything. Usaa has an amazing chemistry and awesome corporate culture that are truly irreplicable.

Benefits are excellent including a sizable annual bonus for all employees, free gym and onsite clinics, 1:1 401k matching up to 8%, education card to pay for education expenses, and the list goes on...

    Cons

It can be a challenge to “get off the phones” but at the same time qualified, dedicated employees will find their place within the organization. And hey it beats the alternative.

    Advice to Management

Let employees do what the do best every day-take care of the members. Continue to encourage development and help employees find their calling within USAA.

I worked at USAA full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

USAA take as good a care for the staff as they do their members. I worked wiht USAA for almost 6 years and i've never felt so taken care of and supported anywhere else!

    Cons

Being in the London office, the numbers are limited and so progression through the senior ranks can be slow, but from a starting point - progression is fast and supported

    Advice to Management

No advice - keep doing what you're doing.

    Pros

Its a great company to work for. The benefits are better than average while the pay is normal for the work (some companies pay more, but the benefits matching/health insurance/ and time off are worth it)

    Cons

You have to work. When you show up be ready to work and work hard. Each minute is monitored.

I have been working at USAA full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Culture is amazing. Dress code is casual for employees that aren't customer facing. Benefits are amazing. The home office is gigantic and has multiple cafeterias (Wendy's, Subway, Chick-Fil-A, and 3 Starbucks all inside). So large of an organization there is lots of ability to move elsewhere.

    Cons

The showers in both gyms onsite are old and in need of updating. Seriously, that's all I can think of, because this place blows away every other place I've ever worked.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work. USAA is an amazing place to work.
