Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI have been working at University Hospitals Birmingham full-time for more than a year
Pros
Large Trust with lots of opportunities for progression. Every day is an opportunity to make an impact on people's lives. Trust and general NHS staff benefits/discounts are fantastic. Trust merger has a lot of potential for the future despite it being on the cons list for now.
Cons
Currently merging with other hospitals all running on different systems and processes - a bit of a mess! Many roles also now expected to travel or change location. The NHS is also a very hierarchical culture which is the same in every Trust I have worked in, little opportunity to think for yourself.
