    I have been working at University of Bradford for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Supportive management, great opportunities. Great flexible working and benefits particularly for working parents. Great training and development opportunities and support from managers.

    Cons

    There has been a relatively new VC who has made a number of changes across faculties - many of which were slimmed down. There is a new excellence programme running which puts under review most services across the institution - there has been some positives from some services and not others.

    I have been working at University of Bradford full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Some wonderful people but they have no power

    Cons

    Lots of problems resulting from an unwillingness by senior staff to understand the environment. It's not a business, it's a university. Very limited advancement opportunities due to the "excellence" programme and repeated restructuring.
