I have been working at University of Cincinnati full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Flexible work hours, decent infrastructure depending on your lab

    Cons

Admin is terrible. Despite lots of scientific success and major pushes from my mentor, admin has stunted my career growth significantly. They're happy to take overhead from my grants but fight tooth and nail to prevent me from having a title that would allow me to join the union. They'll use you and spit you out. Stay away.
