    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at University of Edinburgh full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good opportunities for professional training and knowledge gain. Wonderful city, campus and surrounding areas. Good working environment.

    Cons

Needs active search for opportunities. Administration, especially finances is entirely overwhelmed with their workload and hence quality and service suffers drastically. Personal growth in science is difficult and support by the school is limited. They give good consulting, but funding and monetary support appear to be Gentlemen's Club and political tools rather than genuine offers.

    Advice to Management

be thorough and stick to your decisions. Improve staff development including comprehensible salary adjustments

I worked at University of Edinburgh full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible hours and a lot of travel benefits (at least in the research group I belonged to)

    Cons

Pay beneath of what I expected. But in a way the other benefits compensated.

    Pros

It's a nice place to work while doing postdoctoral research. There are just so many intelligent and friendly people you can't go wrong.

    Cons

You have to live in Edinburgh to work at the University of Edinburgh, which means you will be suffering through interminable winters.

    Advice to Management

I have not advice for management since I did not really have any interactions with management. This means they are probably doing just fine.

I worked at University of Edinburgh full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Advice to Management
