    I have been working at University of Edinburgh full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Excellent work-life balance. Great holidays. Lots of opportunities to attend seminars.

    Cons

    Very slow rise up the payscale. No annual bonus.

    Pros

    Very good balance between work and personal life. Total freedom in decing when to start/finish work. Really good environment to work in

    Cons

    Sometime the managers should be more prepared to do their job, but as overall there are really great people to work with

    Advice to Management

    Maybe more careful in the choice pf PI for big research projects
