I have been working at University of Glasgow full-time

    Pros

Friendly and international environment, vibrant social life, a lot of societies to join and the chance to establish your own, facilities to do sports, good organization in terms of university football, lovely weather!!!

    Cons

Some teachers are just not worth to listen to due to their bad English. They probably have the knowledge but I have had some horrible lecturer who barely spoke English.

    Advice to Management

A fundamental restructuring of the economics syllabus would not be a disadvantage. Too much emphasis on theory (one may argue that economics is a pure thoeritical subject) but I was really lacking to see the practical side of what they taught on lectures.

    Cons

Should pay attention to the contracts more carefully

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at University of Glasgow part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You're treated with respect and the pay is generally higher than you would expect if doing a similar job out with the university. There is extensive training and flexibility with shifts.

    Cons

There's not much room to move up in the role.
The job can be monotonous after a while and you can be met with a lot of animosity from the alumni when speaking with them.
