I have been working at University of North Carolina full-time

    Pros

Benifits: You get 143 hours of vacation, 104 hours of sick time, you have a week off in December YOU HAVE to take (this doesn't come out of your vacation or sick time), you have several paid holidays, medical is pretty good and retirement is great! Love my co-workers and the learning curve is really high. Currently we are off campus so "at the moment" parking is onsite and free.

    Cons

By Sept 30, we have to park off site for a fee. Shuttle ride will be between 15-20 (depends on shuttle time and morning and afternoon traffic) mins for a parking site that is roughly 4 mins away. As a University employee, raises and bonuses come very little to non a year.

    Advice to Management

Management is fair and my only supervisor whom I report to, pushes for career growth.
