I worked at University of Warwick full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly staff and looks good on CV.

    Cons

The systems are very outdated, a lot of the admin is still paper based. It feels like they're trying to implement more updated systems but it's still missing the mark at the moment. It wasn't for me.

    Advice to Management

To update systems and have a more centralised system.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at University of Warwick full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice people in some groups of WMG. Plenty of funding around.

    Cons

Poor management, incompetent HR, salary gap for a female worker comparing a male worker at the same job in the same group. No value for having a PhD

    Advice to Management

They should look into high turn over groups and if necessary fire the managers. Managers and professors shouldn't be untouchable. Value the happiness of the employee rather than giving them set time, low salary and poor management.
